How does it work?

In 4 days, you’ll move from idea to prototype to decision, saving you and your team countless hours and euros.

Monday

Unpack

We identify your problem and how to measure improvement. We also take time to listen to you and understand your business, its context and your audience.

  • Goal & metrics (KPIs)
  • Personas
  • User stories
  • User journey

Tuesday

Diverge & explore

We generate ideas. Everyone pitches as many solutions as possible to improve the odds of finding the best one. We then discuss and re-shape the suggestions as needed.

  • Ideation
  • Paper prototyping
  • Storyboarding
  • Critique

Wednesday

Prototype

We build a prototype of the best solution we’ve come up with. Depending on what we want to learn, we choose the appropriate fidelity of our prototype (paper mockups, code etc.)

  • Prototyping
  • Plan testing

Thursday

Test & learn

We test the prototype to see what works and what doesn’t. We then sum up what we’ve learned and plan the next steps needed to improve your product.

A concrete example

Proxyclick helps companies improve the welcoming experience of their visitors. One of the platform's features is an alert notification sent to the employee when his visitor checks in at reception. During a design sprint we increased the value of the feature by:

  • Adding a series of useful and innovative actions
  • Rethinking its ergonomy and making it visually appealing
  • Improving the overall user experience

FAQ

  • Is a design sprint the right tool for us?

A design sprint is the perfect tool for young start-ups or organizations who want a quick way of testing a concept for new projects. We've worked with multinationals and small companies to create products from scratch or to polish extensive product bundles.

  • What makes you qualified?

We're a multidisciplinary team which has used design sprints with clients of different sizes, from different fields and trying to reach different goals. These diverse projects have enriched us with valuable insight and experience.

  • Can we do a design sprint at our office?

Yes, but we’ve noticed it is more efficient to hold design sprints in our studio. The change of environment and fewer distractions will help you focus and think creatively.

  • We’re not located in Belgium. Is that a problem?

It's fine! We’re more than happy to work with companies abroad, but we'll have to add a surcharge if we need to travel to meet with you.

  • How many people have to be present for a design sprint?

The most efficient design sprints include a key decision-maker and a member of your IT staff. We'll discuss in advance who would be the best staff members for your design sprint. The team you send can change from one sprint to the next.

  • What if we don’t have a solution by the end of the week?

We have specific techniques to help us brainstorm and identify potential solutions. Using these, we’re always able to come up with great ideas.
